COMMENTS:  At this point Wilma was in the southern Carribean, preventing ships from reaching destinations in places like Hondurus and Belize.  This made for a short term boom for Cozumel, as a number of extra ships made extended stays at the island.  The feel of the island was a bit strange as residents continued to play host to large numbers of tourists, while at the same time starting to scramble to prepare for the storm.
